Assistance When You Need It, Where You Need It
We know that life with pets can be unpredictable, and at Keota Veterinary Clinic, we do everything we can to help! Our Urgent Care service is designed to assist our clients during those times when a pet doesn’t really need to go to an ER but does need to be seen ASAP.
Here’s how it works:
- During our regular hours, sick or injured pets can be seen as an Urgent Care Exam.
- Urgent Care Exams are a premium service and cost more than a regular exam, but it will be less expensive than a visit to the ER.
- If you think your pet needs an Urgent Care Exam, please call us at (641) 636-3888 to determine availability before coming to the clinic.
The goal of our Urgent Care service is twofold: to help patients who need care ASAP and to help clients avoid costly trips to the ER unless absolutely necessary. In addition, we offer existing clients After Hours Care for certain life-threatening scenarios.
Please understand that, depending on staff availability and your pet’s condition, we may direct you to one of the area veterinary emergency rooms if we feel it’s in your pet’s best interest.
